Despite finishing dead last in both total offense and total defense last ' season as they were forced to endure major turnover at almost every position due to a seemingly endless rash of injuries, the 49ers enter the
2006 campaign with their heads held high following back-to-back wins the final two games that enabled them to double their win total from the previous season.
